What we collect
You can use One More Point without creating an account. In that case, we store only the display name you choose and a randomly generated avatar seed. We create an anonymous guest profile linked to a first-party cookie so we can recognise you across page refreshes and sessions. If you create a permanent account, we additionally store your email address and the credentials needed to sign you in. We also store the rooms you host or participate in, including round history, linked to your profile.How we use your data
Your display name and votes are shared with other participants in the same room in real time. Your email address is used only to send transactional messages you explicitly request, such as password reset emails or a welcome message when you create an account. We do not use any data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.Cookies
We use a first-party cookie to identify your profile and maintain your account session. It contains a signed, opaque identifier and is retained for up to 90 days. When you sign in to a permanent account, we also use a first-party authentication session cookie. We also use analytics cookies to understand how the app is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.Browser storage
We use browser session storage to remember your in-room identity, display name, selected role, last room, and temporary interface notices during a browser session. We use local storage to remember your theme preference and, for first-time visitors, a generated display-name suggestion. This storage is used to operate the service and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.Data retention
Temporary guest profiles expire after 21 days. Rooms hosted by a temporary profile are automatically deleted after 24 hours of inactivity. Permanent accounts persist until you delete them, while rooms hosted by permanent accounts are automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity. You can permanently delete your account at any time from your profile page. Room data and round history are also deleted when you delete your account or manually delete a hosted room.Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party providers to store data, deliver real-time updates, send transactional emails, generate avatar images, and provide analytics. These providers process data only on our behalf and only as needed to operate the service. We do not use advertising networks or any other third-party tracking services.Data security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and secure handling of credentials. No system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.Children's privacy
One More Point is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.Your rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you may have rights under applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA) to access, correct, or erase your data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent. You can delete all data associated with your account directly from the profile page. For any other requests or questions, contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will notify users of any material changes by posting a prominent notice in the app before the changes take effect.
