Best overlap: 08:00–16:00 UTC

2 of 3 available

  • All times are entered as each person's local working hours - the UTC offset does the conversion, so nobody has to do timezone math by hand.
  • A window with partial overlap is still usable for async handoffs even if it is not a full-team live meeting slot.

What this solves

Finding a meeting time across three or more timezones by hand means everyone doing their own UTC math and comparing notes - slow, and error-prone the moment daylight saving shifts one region but not another. This tool converts everyone's local working hours to UTC and shows the overlap directly.

Reading the heatmap

Darker cells mean more people are available at that UTC hour - the goal is usually the darkest column, but a lighter one can still work for an async handoff between two people even without full-team overlap.

When there's no good overlap

Some timezone spreads genuinely don't have a live meeting window that works for everyone without someone joining very early or very late. In that case, the honest move is async estimation - pre-voting asynchronously and reserving a short live session only for stories where the votes actually disagreed - rather than forcing a bad time on part of the team every cycle.

Frequently asked questions

Each person's local working hours are converted to UTC using their offset, then compared hour by hour to find where the most people are available at once.
